MCG Annual General Meeting 2025

The 2025 MCG AGM was held on the 23rd of November at West Brunswick Community Garden. A working bee was held on the same day with lots of great work being done with a delicious lunch that followed

The business of the meeting was: 2025 AGM Agenda 

It was great to see so many people there, the general membership, plot holders, the organising committee, and the board. We had a wonderful discussion, asked questions, and debated points for the future of the garden. The President’s Report was presented, and the Treasurer Report presented with many questions answered. The West Brunswick Community Garden Report was given and accepted. The key business of the meeting was to move to increase the price of memberships from Jan 1st, 2026. This is being done to meet the rising cost of insurance for the garden and organisation. The board was re-elected with a new member Alysha joining. The Board will continue its work in 2026 and another AGM to be held in 12 months. Thank you to all who have contributed to the garden and the organisation over the past year. The garden can only survive because such a strong committed community support it throughout the year.
